The 2024 Key West World Championship races have officially wrapped up, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible teams, fans, and everyone who made the event a success. Although Wednesday’s races were canceled due to hurricane threats, the weather cleared just in time for us to kick off on Friday. From start to finish, each race delivered action-packed moments and competitiveness that left fans excited to see more! Whether you joined us at the waterfront via XINSURANCE VIP or tuned in via the livestream, your support brought great energy to this year’s championship!
As the weekend progressed, teams battled hard pushing the limits to secure their places among the world’s best in offshore racing. Friday and Sunday showcased the skills of every driver and throttleman. The vibrant Key West community embraced the event wholeheartedly, creating an atmosphere that elevated the entire experience for all who attended. From racing to street parties, the city was as welcoming and excited to have RWO in town for the World Championships! We were thrilled to see fans of all ages enjoying the races, celebrating the sport, and cheering on their favorite teams throughout the weekend.
Sunday’s final rounds were filled with excitement as world champions were crowned. Congratulations to each of the champions for their hard-earned victories and to every team that participated. Our sincere gratitude go out to the fans, sponsors, volunteers, and partners who made this event possible. With this season’s close, we’re already looking ahead to 2025 and can’t wait to see everyone back in Key West for another year of thrilling offshore racing action!
