The Clearwater Nationals closed out the WPRA National Series racing season with high stakes and plenty of storylines across each class. In Pro Class 1, Monster Energy M•CON took the win after the GC Racing MTI crash changed the running order, with XINSURANCE South finishing second. Super Cat was all about Graydel, who stayed in control from the green flag to the finish ahead of Dirty Money. Factory Stock went to GC Racing MTI, who backed up their strong season with a wire-to-wire performance that secured both the race and season crown. In Super Stock, Team Nautical Ventures managed clean water and a consistent pace to pull off a convincing victory.
The Mod V class produced some of the most exciting racing of the weekend, featuring the largest group of boats in Clearwater this year. El Bandito Tequila came out on top with a strong drive, while XINSURANCE scored enough points to clinch the class championship despite finishing behind. In the bracket classes, Framed Offshore/Drink Nuati had a strong run before a stress fracture broke and causing the boat to take on water.
Next up, all eyes turn to the Key West World Championships, running November 2–9. The event will bring together the best of the best for a showdown that often delivers the most memorable racing of the year. With the national series complete, teams now shift their focus to chasing a world crown in one of the sport’s most iconic venues.
